How do I get to Nordes Surfhouse?

Your nearest airports are Santiago de Compostela (SCQ) — approx. 1 hour away — or A Coruña (LCG) — approx. 40 minutes away. Many offer direct flights from major European cities. From A Coruña: Take a shuttle from the airport to the A Coruña City Bus Station (Aena Bus Transfers), then a direct bus to Ferrol (~1.5 hours, ~€11). From Santiago: Take a shuttle from the airport to Santiago Bus Station, then a direct bus to Ferrol (~2 hours, ~€15). We can pick you up from Ferrol Bus Station or arrange a direct airport transfer on request.

It’s not required, but highly recommended. Some beaches are within walking distance, but carrying surf gear can be tiring. A car gives you the freedom to explore more beaches and attractions. Cars can be rented at the airport, or you can try the GetAround app (Airbnb-style car rentals). We also offer bicycles for rent.

Do you have surf equipment available for rent?

Yes. We have a variety of surfboards — shortboards, funboards, and longboards — plus 4/3mm wetsuits in different sizes.

Do you offer lessons for beginners?

Yes. We teach all levels, from complete beginners to advanced surfers, with certified instructors and small group sizes.

What’s the best time to surf in Galicia?

Spring and autumn bring consistent swells with fewer crowds. Summer has warmer water and smaller waves, perfect for beginners.
